This pit just kept going down deeper and deeper and soon we were using a ladder to get in and out of the pit.
On Ricks nex turn in the hole I heard him say "if this is whole this is going to be a great piece" next thin I knew he holds up a giltedge dressing, I had dug one in a dump years ago and this was the only other one I had seen!
These are beutiful bottles! on my next turn in the pit I was working away at the se corner when I saw a round rusted can with the lip of a bottle sticking out of the top of it, I pulled it out and broke the metal away, it was another Giltedge, unbelievable! If U look at the bottom of the bottle above You'll notice a set of external threads, they screwed a metal container over these beutiful bottles? why?
